Zhou Lvjing was a man of character in late Ming Dynasty. After he abandoned the imperial civil service examination in the 40th year of Emperor Jiajing(1561),he made himself as a recluse and settled in Baizhu village,Jiaxing, with an agreeable and low-profile life reading poems and enjoying local sightseeing. He was full of knowledge, created an army of significant writings and poems, which led him to a bright career in the south regions of the Yangtze River,in late Ming Dynasty.Nevertheless, academia cannot make full researches about his poems for now. This article is going to apply multi-dimensional and solid literature research methodology on the basis of literal emendation, contrast and close reading, and then do specific analysis about Lvjing’s several essential issues. We try to put Lvjing’s poems’ creation into coordinate system, which holds social culture study as X axis and Literature tradition study as Y axis.In order to strengthen this assumption,we come up with four categories:Variation between"Miandiangaoxuan" and Lvjing’s poems,Chase phenomena of Lvjing’s poems, the work of Object-Chanting Poetry and "Xiaofu".As we can see from the Y axis in this coordinate system,it is obvious that we did our study about the Chase phenomena tradition,Liquor poems’ tradition,Chanting things tradition, and those complicated but profound relationships in Chinese Classic literature. For that matter,Lvjing’s poems also inherited but reformed the "Xiaofu" that survived Han,Wei and Six Dynasties. The X axis states that by studying Lvjing’s text version of poems and its similarities and differences from other writers’ work,we now have a clear picture of the relevance among writer’s personal reasons, era culture elements and literature. At the intersections, those implied and faint social cultural information are being explored.
