In the field of human-computer interaction,the concept of User-centered design start to deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.The Efficiency and naturalness of human-computer interaction is becoming more and more important.The traditional narrow bandwidth based on the keyboard/mouse input mode is more and more can’t satisfy people’s needs.The eye control interaction way based on eye tracking technology due to its natural and intuitive is becoming more and more get the favour of the researcher.The research on the basis of predecessors’ research further investigate fixtion time factor to the influence of the eye control interaction.ie,to solve the problem of “Midas Touch”.This research also proposed a new mode of eye control – hand control dual channel interaction.Through contrast analysis the operating performance of four kinds of interaction ways basis on hand control,eye control and mobile,click on the two conditions combine.Compare the operating characteristic and applicable scope of various kinds of interaction,In order to promote the practical application to provide a reference.This resarch consists of two parts:The first study is the performance impact of different fixation time to eye control click.Includes two experiments:The first experiment is the impact of different fixation time to interaction way of eye control move-eye control click.The second experiment is the impact of different fixation time to interaction way of hand control move-eye control click.Respectively to obtain the most appropriate fixation time parameters recommended values in two interaction ways of hand control move-eye control click and eye control move-eye control click.The second study is the performance impact of eye control,hand control and eye combining with hand control method to input task.On the basis of the most appropriate parameter values in the first study,verify the effectiveness of the two interaction ways.Contrast analysis the operating performance of four kinds of interaction ways basis on hand control,eye control and move,click on the two conditions combine.Compare the operating characteristic and applicable scope of various kinds of interaction,In order to promote the practical application to provide a reference.The main results of this research are as follows:(1)On the interaction way of eye control move-eye control click,recommend using 700 ms as the fixation time.(2)On the interaction way of hand control move-eye control click,recommend using 200 ms as the fixation time.(3)The dual channel interaction ways of hand control move-eye control click and eye control move-hand control click and the single channel interaction way of eye control move-eye control click are all effectively complete the virtual keyboard letters input task.(4)Different interaction ways have different operating characteristic and the applicable scope.The interaction way of eye control move-eye control click completely out of his hands and have the most widely application scope.But relatively the task completion rate is the minimum and the learnability is the worst.The interaction way of hand control move-eye control click have relatively high task completion rates and can effectively control click of mistake.However,this interaction way need to control the mouse by hand,we can consider to design special mouse to match the eye control operation,like the TrackPoint of ThinkPad.The interaction way of eye control move-hand control click have the medium level task completion rates.Eye control move can cooperate for click operation with the fingers or toes.But the problems of the line of sight out of range when hand control click still need further study to solve.This reaearch further research on the problem of “Midas Touch”,Put forward the most appropriate fixation time recommended values of eye control click.This research also proposed a new mode of eye control – hand control dual channel interaction.Compare the operating characteristic and applicable scope of various kinds of interaction,In order to promote the practical application to provide a reference.
