According to Baumeister's(1998)self-control energy model,self-control can be divided into trait self-control and state self-control.The self-control of the state is manifested in the limited energy of self-control.The individual used self-control in the previous task, which may lead to the lack of available resources for subsequent self-control tasks and self-depletion.When the individual is in a state of self-destruction,unethical behavior is more likely to occur. At the same time, the high and low self-control of traits can also affect individual behavior.Individuals with high self-control ability can better suppress impulse behavior and play a key role in meeting external needs and long-term interests. In immoral behavior, deception is a unique behavior of humans and occurs from time to time. Not only harm the interests of others, but sometimes even endanger life.It is necessary to explore whether fraud can be influenced by self-control when it is confirmed that deception and self-control have common neural mechanisms.Other studies have also confirmed that deception is sometimes required to be done by the individual, and having different control over my resources can affect deceptive behavior. This study believes that self-control resources will affect people's deceptive behavior. When self-control resources are insufficient, deception is more likely to occur. In addition, compared with individuals with low self-control ability, individuals with high self-control ability can better suppress impulses and have fewer deceptive behaviors. In past studies,it was confirmed that self-control is similar to muscle, and self-control behavior can be improved through regular and small self-control exercises(for example, grip training). Therefore, increasing training tasks that require self-control will increase self-control.In this paper, three experiments were conducted to verify the above hypothesis. In the first experiment, the Stroop paradigm was used to make the participants produce different degrees of self-destruction,and then to complete the deception task. Finally, the difference between the two groups in the deception task was compared. In experiment two,self-control ability was measured using the "Self-control Self-control Scale" revised by Tan Shuhua.Through this scale, the subjects were divided into high self-control ability group and low self-control ability group, and then the two groups were respectively deceived.Experiment 3 was conducted using the "pretest-training-posttest" method.Subjects were divided into: training group,non-training group, and blank control group.Pretest stage:Three groups of subjects need to complete the signal stop task and self-control scale to measure self-control.After the completion of the deception task and a live grip test;training phase: the training group and non-training group to participate, the training group needs to be longer and stronger in time and intensity than before. The non-training group does not make any demands. The blank control group did not participate in training. The first two groups of subjects also need to complete the grip evaluation scale.Post-testing phase: Three subjects were tested in order: self-control scale measurement;stop signal task;visual-perceptual task.Comparing the training group, the non-training group, and the blank control group, whether the self-control ability of the three groups was improved;whether there was a difference between the deceptive behavior and the deception tendency.Through three experiments, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The loss of self-control resources will affect fraudulent behavior.Compared with individuals with low loss of self-control resources, individuals with high self-control resource loss will show more fraudulent behaviors and deception tendencies;(2)Self-control ability will also affect fraudulent behavior.Individuals with lower self-control ability showed more deceptive behavior and deceptive tendency than those with stronger self-control ability.(3)Through small-scale exercises(this experiment is grip strength training),the self-control ability of the participants can be improved;the improvement of self-control ability can help reduce the occurrence of deceptive behaviors;...
