On The Artistic Characteristics Of Enshi Folk Songs

Enshi folk songs refer to the short and lyric works which can be sung or chanted.The large numbers of different folk songs are created by the local working people and the contents are profound.The different forms and contents of love songs,children's songs,laboring lyrics,songs about current politics and songs about conventions all manage to reflect the different aspects of the natives' life.Enshi folk songs own its unique artistic features.There are some local characteristics about the language Arts of dialect and word.The Enshi people who live wuling mountain area have an ecological view that values nature and harmony with nature.Colorful folk performances have the function of enlightenment exhortation.As the folk cultural treasure in Enshi region,the studies and inheritance of Enshi folk songs are a problem to be explored and solved.Therefore,based on field investigation,this thesis chooses culture as its angle of view.A comparative study is conducted.The language artistic features,ecological aesthetic characteristics,singing artistic characteristics and some other aspects are deeply analyzed.This thesis includes the following parts:Introduction.In this part,there is a general explanation about Enshi folk songs' boundary definition,significance of researches,research status and so on,which paves the way for the later analysis.Chapter One focuses on the language artistic features.the essay mainly discusses the language Art characteristics of Enshi folk songs.It analyzes the dialect,linings and rich diversions of rhetoric by selecting the representative folk songs.And it will explore the unique linguistic features of folk songs.Chapter Two introduces the ecological aesthetic characteristics of Enshi folk songs.It analyzes Enshi people's life attitudes and ecological consciousness from three aspects: the natural ecological beauty of Enshi folk songs,the social ecological beauty and the spiritual ecological beauty of Enshi folk songs.Chapter Three is the essence of the thesis.This part studies the singing artistic features of Enshi folk songs.Many Enshi folk songs including love songs,wedding laments and funeral drum songs are selected to illustrate the variety of the performance related to the folk songs and the modern innovation during the inheritance.The last part is the conclusion.Reviewing what has been discussed in the previous parts,the author concludes that with time passing by,Enshi folk songs will be developed during the inheritance.
