Since the country put forward the development of "characteristic town",for a time,the township scrambling to build the "characteristics of the town" pace,many towns change the traditional workers,agricultural structure,vigorously develop the innovation industry,thus the name of industry But also some towns ignore the "characteristics" of the word,do not explore the local characteristics of culture,blindly imitate,plagiarism,resulting in the current township construction "thousands of towns are all the same",homogeneous competition,and in fact,these Township are lack of core culture,there is no vitality in industry,but also lack of market competitiveness.In the face of the current domestic situation,we must understand that "characteristic town" needs to have cultural characteristics and clear industrial positioning,so that local characteristics of cultural and economic construction are easy to integrated.so that can achieve the sustainable development of township industry.Nowadays,the modernization of the township can not only rely on infrastructure construction,culture and industry development is the key.In addition,China’s visual image design started lately,at present,the design of the visual image of the township is minimal.The city have created a successful visual image,such as:Hong Kong,Dalian,Chongqing,etc.,these cities also have a good modern cultural resources,infrastructure construction,with excellent Of the market competitiveness.Compared to the city,the advantages of the township is to have excellent natural resources,rich folk culture,so more that need to visual image design to promote it,so in the fierce competition in the industry a firm foothold.This paper mainly adopts the way of discussion from theory to practice.Firstly,it tries to analyze the concept of township culture,and discusses the formation and development of Chinese township culture from Chinese agricultural civilization and traditional culture.Secondly,based on the modern design theory,aiming at the fusion of visual image and township culture,combined with the mature visual image design case at home and abroad,this paper explores the role and method of modernization of township culture,and explores the feasibility of development that visual image to promote the culture of township.This paper takes Taoxin town,the city of Wuhu,Anhui Province as the object of visual image design,and designs the direction of future industrial development of Taoxin town as the design goal,digs out the natural resources and cultural resources of Taoxin town and digs its Cultural characteristics,the use of visual image design methods into them,to create a unique Tao Xin town visual symbols and patterns,in order to enhance the overall visual image of Tao Xin town.In addition,the author based on the visual image of Tao Xin town,the use of visual image and local products combined to create a typical pottery local culture characteristics of new products,trying to create a visual image through the Tao Xin town which is a new industrial model.
