A Study On Creation Of Lianshan Yao's Long-drum Dance In Guangdong

Yao is an ancient nationality.In the long process of historical development,Yao in Guangdong has formed a unique,rich and colorful ethnic culture.In addition,Yao has boasted its own unique traditional dance art with its national features.Lianshan Yao's long-drum dance a unique time-honored folk dance in the long-term migration life of Yao,which is abundant in cultural deposits and connotation and inherits national traditional culture.In 2011,Lianshan Yao's long-drum was listed in the third batch of national intangible cultural heritage for protection.This paper combs the living environment and historical sources of long-drum dance,puts long-drum dance which takes traditional art materials as base of creation into the ecology environment to parse its art form.This paper explores the ideas and methods of creating Lianshan Yao's long-drum dance mainly through the author's own creation practice.Besides,it plays a role in promoting the creation of Lianshan Yao's long-drum dance and provides some enlightenment.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.In the body,the author first gives an overview of living environment,historical background and current status of inheritance of Lianshan Yao's long-drum dance in Guangdong.Secondly,it parses art form of long-drum dance,including content,performance program,movement posture,props,costumes and music accompaniment.Then it mainly analyzes the dance works created by author and illustrates from the significance,structure of works and specific creative process.Finally,the author discusses the enlightenment from creative practice.Traditional ethnic folk art needs inheriting,carrying forward and developing.The creation of Guangdong Yao's long-drum dance is the continuation of the concept.Although there are difficulties in the road of future development,It is a need for artists to keep trying.
