Research on Eileen Chang has become a vital issue in recent years,current academic circles,and her relationship with film has also seemed to be an important subject in today’s academic circle.This article regards Eileen Chang’s existing film script creations during the Hong Kong period as the research object,trying to spy the writer’s private thoughts out from her scripts and explores the changes of Eileen Chang’s individual writing in the business environment though the way of close reading.In the part of introduction,this article clarifies the relationship between Eileen Chang and the couple of Song,summarizes Eileen Chang’s experience as a scriptwriter briefly.And in the meanwhile,this article also gathers all the screen writings of Eileen Chang during the fifties to sixties.The part of literature review mainly relates to these aspects:the general situation of Dian Mao company and the works on Eileen Chang’s film script creations during the period in Hong Kong.The first chapter comprehensively discusses the writing background of Eileen Chang during the Hong Kong period.Firstly,this part explains the writing practice process of Eileen Chang under the different business mechanism by contrasting the industrial environment of Wenhua and Dian Mao.Secondly,this part focuses on the individual existence of Eileen Chang during the fifties to sixties,and observes the dilemma of her late creation from the space perspective of Hong Kong,the United States and the mainland.The second chapter regards the film script creations of Eileen Chang during the fifties as the research objective.This part draws the outline of the different female characters in different texts by analyzing the plots and structures of Eileen Chang’s urban romantic comedies and domestic dramas,thus can deeply expound the successive relationship between Eileen Chang’s early film script creations and her other writings.The last chapter regards the film script creations of Eileen Chang during the sixties as the research objective.this part will appears the narrative fracture of Eileen Chang’s film script creations within the period by means of analyzing the changes of narrative strategies and writing perspective of Father akes a Bride,Please Remember Me,The Great Wedding on Earth and The Greatest Love Affair on Earth to witness Eileen Chang’s personal presentation becoming thinner and thinner.
