In today's highly developed material civilization,few people aspire to Yan Hui's simple life that "with a single bamboo dish of rice,a single gourd dish of drink,and living in a poor narrow lane",and few can understand Zeng Dian's realm of life that "I would bath in the river of Yi,enjoy the breeze on the rain altars,and go home singing songs".The upgrade of the spirit did not keep up with the pace of material development,which has caused many social problems.Wang Yangming's philosophy of mind was produced in the mid Ming Dynasty a period which is the commodity economy rapid development period.His purpose of putting forward "zhi liangzhi"(the realization of innate knowing)is to help more people go to the road of turning to be sanctified,and then to reverse the social atmosphere that people indulged in desire.Therefore,it has an excellent referential significance for today's world.It has been 500 years or so since Yangming theory was put forward.Its influence spread not only China but also other neighboring counties such as Japan and South Korea.There are also many excellent research papers.And in this paper,the author attempts to link up the various theoretical propositions in the idea of "regression",looking for a more clear way to elaborate Yangming theory.This idea has a profound origin in Chinese culture,which can be traced back to the hexagram Fu in the book of Zhou Yi(The Book of Changes).This idea has always been in Chinese traditional philosophy and Yangming' theory is no exception.In addition,the whole process of returning to "liangzhi" and aesthetic activity has a natural similarity.From the perspective of regression,the final return is not only spiritual home,but also an aesthetic realm of life.The staring point is the Yangming theory of "mind is principle".This theory puts Cheng-Zhu's external principles in everyone' mind,laying the foundations of the road to Sage realm.At the same time,this "introversion" is a manifestation of the subjective spirit.As the ontology of his philosophy,"innate knowing"coincides with the main body.The two together constitute the aesthetic implication mapping from the"mind is principle".On the way home is the "unity of knowledge and action" which makes every manifestations of "innate knowing" be implemented in specific things,not empty and have practical significance.The emphasis on action makes the feasibility of regression be promoted.This method contains a kind.of action aesthetics which means do it right away.Eventually,Yangming summed up what he learned through his life by three chinese characters "zhi liangzhi".If we explain the word "zhi" to "regress",then the "zhi liangzhi" can be seen as "return to liangzhi".At that point,the end is the beginning.However,after mumerous trials,the state level has been spiraling through the negation of negation,and the "innate knowing" has been flowed to shine the world.Such a realm that the subjective and the objective are on longer opposite is an aesthetic realm of personality.Same as the aesthetic activities,it constructs a world where the subjective and the objective are united.
