Research On The Tombs Of The Six Dynasties In Zhejiang Province

Six Dynasties was a connecting link between Qin&Han Dynasty and Sui&Tang Dynasty,which is important to have a research of tomb and burial that time.At present scholars from south parts have plenty of achievements of researches from theirselves' regions ranging from Jiangsu,Anhui,Jiangxi,Hunan,Hubei,Fujian,and Guangdong,etc.However,those researches are seldom mentioned about Zhejiang.Zhejiang in Six Dynasties was the center of celadon manufacture and had its feature cultures of tomb and burial.It is different to include it into a wider region like the existing researches.This article focuses on tombs in Six Dynasties in Zhejiang based on hundreds of tombs sorted information,historical documents and periphery tomb materials.It is attempted to show a comprehensive and systematic research of the Six Dynasties tombs of Zhejiang by using archaeological methods to investigate their distribution,periodization and cultural elements.This article consists of four chapters.Chapter One introduction,it gives a general review of organization system up to Southern Chen of Zhejiang,which is combed the materials of tombs from the 1930s to the present,summarizes the previous researches and the existing problem.Chapter Two is the archaeological research of tombs.Tombs in Six Dynasties in Zhejiang can be classified into pits tombs and brick tombs,mainly brick tombs.Brick tombs also can be classified into single-room and multi-room.Multi-rooms are a few and their shape and structure are simple.While a large number of single-rooms in shapes of convex,rectangle and knife are discovered.And in late stage there is a tomb in shape of boat.In terms of burial artifacts,there are mainly celadon,a few potteries,metals,stone artifacts,which is an important difference between Zhejiang and other peripheral regions.In analysis of classic celadons of ???,???,?,??,???,??,??? and ??,it shows a more clear evolution pattern.The third part is the research of periodization and its relevant questions.Based on those mentioned above,periods of tombs in Six Dynasties in Zhejiang are divided into Wu and Western Jin Dynasty,the Eastern Jin Dynasty and the Southern Dynasty.By compared with tombs of previous generation and periphery at the same age,it analyzes the local and outer factors in tomb and burial culture in Zhejiang.The last part is the conclusion,summarizing previous three chapters and remain questions.
