Agricultural Origination And Development In Liaodong Peninsula Area From Neolithic Era To The Bronze Age

The Liaodong Peninsula lies between the Yellow Sea to the east and the Bohai Sea to the west and faces the south of the Jiaodong Peninsula across the sea.It is an important cultural exchange bridge connecting the Jiaodong Peninsula,the Korean Peninsula and the Japanese archipelago.And the archaeology culture sequence in the Liaodong Peninsula from the Neolithic Era to the Bronze Age is very clear,including "Xiaozhushan Culture Phase One" to "Xiaozhushan Culture Phase Five","Shuangtuozi Culture Phase One" to "Shuangtuozi Culture Phase Three" and the "Shuangfang Culture".There are also some previous research achievements about the agricultural research from the Neolithic Era to the Bronze Age in the south of the Liaodong Peninsula.With more and more archaeological data collected and the agricultural flotation frequently applied in recent years,the agricultural development in the south of the Liaodong Peninsula takes on a basic look in front of us.By analyzing the agricultural tools in typical sites and using technical methods such as flotation and animal skeleton identification,this paper makes an analysis of the development of agriculture and family husbandry in the areas of the Liaodong Peninsula.By further analyzing the status of family husbandry and agricultural planting in the entire economic structure and based on factors such as the natural environment,climate and hydrology,it also makes an analysis of the development and evolution of agriculture.The study shows that agriculture in the south of the Liaodong Peninsula began to spring up in "Xiaozhushan Culture Phase Three" and enlarged its development scale till "Xiaozhushan Culture Phase Five".Agriculture developed rapidly in "Shuangtuozi Culture Phase Three" of the Bronze Age during which time it didn't follow linear and continuous development,but had changes in the process.In addition,this paper also discusses the origin,development and spreading of rice agriculture,which can't only illustrate the diversity of agricultural planting in the Liaodong Peninsula,but also can further prove the important role that the Liaodong Peninsula plays as a bridge in Northeast Asia's economic and cultural exchange.
