With the hundred year's development of Chinese film and television performing arts,it not only provides vivid and aesthetic pleasure for the audience,but also reflects the humanities behind the accumulation and artistic implication.Among them,the development of performing arts theory is the same strain,which continually absorbs the modern art theory.Stanislavsky's performance system normative and scientific training methods provide theoretical support for the creation of the actors.But with the widespread spread of modern performance theories,such as Meyer Hood,Grotovsky,Richard Shekner,and Suzuki,many film and television actors think that the theory of creating a characterized person which is about" Sri Lanka system" is already out of date.Actors who are in front of the screen should be the character starred in the audience to appreciate their own character charm without the need to create a characterization of the characters.It is precisely because of this idea,what we have seen is a monotonous performance in a considerable part of the film and television drama,some actors no longer pay attention to the character creation.Li Xuejian who is China's famous performing artist has shaped a lot of vivid characters in the screen.His excellent acting and adhering to the principles of realism reflects the unique artistic spirit of the older generation of artists.In this article,through the study of Li Xuejian's typical image of film and television,it analyzes his uses of "Sri Lanka system" and the charm of his performance and then fully excavate this artistic sprite.The first part of this thesis is to summarize the outline of "Sri Lanka system",try to analyze the creative principle of "Sri Lanka system" and its influence on Chinese drama performances and film and television performances.The second part is the analysis of Li Xuejian's development process of film and television performing arts.It is divided into four stages:the initial stage of artistic creation,the stage of growth,the stage of maturity and the leap stage.Through the quantitative analysis of the works,he has created in these four stages.It is concluded that his different period of creations have generated the different kinds of influences.The third part is from Li Xuejian's representative creation of the main film and television image to explore his performance in the process of creation of the "Sri Lanka system" application.The fourth part is the excavation of Li Xuejian's artistic spirit.It mainly analyzes the his attitude of artistic creation,innovation spirit,breakthrough spirit and professionalism.Therefore,what he has done for performing art of Chinese actors provides valuable experience.
