Research On The Value Of Directors In The Production System Of Domestic Film And Television Dramas

There has always been a tendency for domestic films and TV dramas to take directors as the core of the production system.This tendency allows directors to interfere in all aspects of the film production process,including early-stage financing,script planning,actor selection,marketing and so on.The popular titles such as "mou Girl" and "Star Girl" reflect the central directing phenomenon of Domestic films and TV dramas from one side.The publicity of films and TV dramas often takes "XXX director's new work" as a marketing gimmick,which also shows this tendency.This paper holds that the production of films and TV series,as a mass product,should focus on the audience.Everything is to organize human resources and property around the audience,and determine the content and artistic style of films and TV series around the audience.This kind of audience-centered creation route requires that movies and TV plays take marketing as the center in the whole production and management process.Although directors have important value in the whole production system,they are mainly responsible for the artistic quality of film and television works,so they are not the center of the whole production process.Only when the director is responsible for both the artistry and marketing of the film and television works can the director have a central position in the entire film and television production system.This paper analyzes the production factors and their status and functions that constitute the production system of films and TV dramas.Meanwhile,it compares and analyzes the evolution process of directors' value at home and abroad.Especially in combination with the current Internet era fan economy and the rise of IP scriptwriting,it is concluded that the core of film and TV drama production is marketing.According to the marketing theory,the author clarified the value and status of directors in the production of domestic films and TV dramas,that is,the director's main function in the whole film and TV production system is to be responsible for the artistic value of films and TV dramas,or thedirector's value in the film and TV dramas is to create the artistic value of films and TV dramas.The marketing of films and TV plays should be aimed at studying audience demands and constantly meeting audience demands.Directors who are responsible for artistic products of films and TV plays should not be divorced from marketing,but must be connected with marketing demands.
