Research On The Ecological Ethics Of Laozi’s Thought

Modern ecological ethics originated from the West in the middle of the 20 th century.The research of ecological ethics in China started from the late 1970 s to the early 1980 s.It started from the introduction of western ecological ethics.After 30 years of development,although the achievements are remarkable,it is necessary to establish the system of the ecological ethic thought with Chinese characteristics and develop its inherent function.It has long way to go.The ecological ethics embodied in Chinese traditional culture is one of the spiritual roots of the construction of ecological ethics system with Chinese characteristics.The thought of Laozi contains abundant ecological ethic wisdom.And the Ecological Unity thought of which all things are equal provides a value of revelation for us to rethink the relationship between man and nature;The ecological balance thought that all things would be growth containing the harmony between man and nature provides a theoretical reference;The ecological development of all things to support the idea of sustainable economic development for our economy to provide a way to follow.Laozi’s wisdom extended for thousands of years,after the era of precipitation.Contemporary China’s desire for Laozi’s thought is that people are standing on the realistic demand of alleviating the ecological crisis in this era,from the perspective of ecological ethics which explore how to correctly handle the relationship between man and nature of the esoteric,is a new era of Laozi’s ecological ethics wisdom for the dialectical inheritance and creative transformation.Make the natural ethic system with Taoism as the core provides effective guidance for build a complete EcologicalEthics System with Chinese characteristics and alleviate the ecological problems in our country.It is undeniable that Laozi who lives in the Spring and Autumn Period,inevitably affected by the limitations of history.He had not seen the unity of natural and social,the unity of Initiative and passive.However,there is no doubt that Laozi is one of authority in the ancient Chinese history.We must absorb the ecological ethic wisdom contained in his thought correctly.It is a positive effect that we can establish a correct view of nature and maintain the harmony between man and nature.The positive effect of the ecological ethics and wisdom implied in our ideology to guide our theory and practice of ecological ethics can not be underestimated.It’s also the meaning of Learn Chinese and Western and Ancient for today’s use.
