Wang anshi Reform occurred in the Northern Song Dynasty Shenzong Xining,Yuanfeng years,which was known as Xining reform or Xifeng reform.The contents of the law aimed at the government financial situation at that time,which failed to make ends meet.Although Wang anshi changed law after sixteen years of failure,but Wang anshi Reform on the Northern Song Dynasty had a profound impact,especially after the change of the Northern Song Dynasty internal divisions,disputes continuing.Cai jing,king Huizong's important official,misused the restoration of the reform to collect the civilian's fortune against law.After the demise of the Northern Song Dynasty people naturally attributed it to Wang anshi.But by combining historical data,in the Ming Dynasty there appeared part of the works highly praising Wang anshi Reform.This phenomenon also had its deep social roots.The first part of the article aims to discuss the contents of Wang anshi's Reform,its achievements,and Wang anshi's own historical description,focusing on Wang anshi character.The main reason is that after the Northern Song Dynasty,many scholars' views on Wang anshi's mainly focused on the contents and effects of Wang anshi's Reform,and Wang anshi's character in the process of reform.Finally,the article lists the opinions of later generation on Wang anshi.The second part of the article is the main body of the whole essay,which mainly discusses the change of Wang anshi's view on Wang anshi's own character,the contents of Wang Anshi's reform and the reasons for the failure of Wang anshi's Reform,which can be seen from the Ming Dynasty scholars' re-understanding of Wang anshi's characteristics which was based on the social problems Ming Dynasty faced.These problems had a similarity with the Northern Song Dynasty's,so when it comes to how to solve the problem,Wang anshi Reform provided a certain reference significance.The third part of the article attempts to discuss the situation facing by the government of the Ming Dynasty from the time of the authors to explore the reasons for the different voices of the Ming Dynasty.The Ming Dynasty scholars had their own views on the operation of the government,which broke the Confucian debate on justice,paying more attention to the country's prosperity.They were in favour of Wang anshi's Reform in the hope of making their country rich and strong.The final conclusion of the article pointed out that the Ming Dynasty was in a period of great change.Among the civilians,there were voices appealing to become rich,which was ignored by the governors.The reason for this situation is that the voice itself had its own weakness to overcome,still upholding the classic Confucian without meeting the needs of the time.But it is undeniable that the Confucian culture also changes,and this change can finally develop a favorable economic development ideas,but this way of their own development was interrupted by the invasion of Western colonial forces interrupted.
