The Relationship Among College Students' Mobile Phone Social Media Dependence,Online Self-Disclosure And Personality Traits

In recent years,with the rapid development of mobile Internet and the growing popularity of smart phone,mobile phone social media for college students has become an indispensable part of life.When many college students wake up,the first thing is to grab their mobile phones to check updates in their mobile social circles and they could spend a lot of time on various kinds of mobile social media every day.Mobile phone social media dependence has given a negative impact on college students' physical,psychological and social function,it may be the interaction results of individual,environmental and behavior.Could Personality traits forecast mobile phone social media dependence? Could online self-disclosure affects mobile phone social media dependence? In this study,1024 college students were surveyed and the writer explored the relationship among college students' mobile phone social media dependence,online self-disclosure and personality traits.The results show that:1.The level of college students' mobile phone social media dependence is at a slightly higher level,29.0% of them are at the higher dependency level.2.College students' mobile phone social media dependence scores have significant differences in gender,whether for the only child,place of residence,grade,subject,time of having smart phone.3.There is a significant positive correlation between neuroticism and college students' mobile phone social media dependence total scores;there are significant negative correlations between openness,agreeableness,conscientiousness and college students' mobile phone social media dependence total scores.4.There are significant positive correlations between online self-disclosure's emotion,attitude and college students' mobile phone social media dependence.There are significant positive correlations between online self-disclosure's opposite-sex communication,learning,total scores and social promoting,compulsive,conflict,withdrawal,dependence total scores.5.Online self-disclosure total scores is a mediator factor of neurotic and college students' mobile phone social media dependence,agreeableness and college students' mobilephone social media dependence.Online self-disclosure total scores generate suppress effects between openness and college students' mobile phone social media dependence.
