A Study On The Relationship Among Personality,Social Anxiety And Mobile Phone Dependence Of College Students

In today's advanced technology is popular,the individual firmly tied themselves by mobile devices on the network,they contact each other but still lonely.Mobile phoneas necessities brought convenience for college students' communication,but also seriously affects their mental health.Divorced from the reality of the interpersonal communication is more frequent,the interpersonal relationships is more indifferent;bad emotions,such as loneliness,depression,anxiety,learning motivation is abate;value was lost.This study focuses on the negative impact of mobile phone that brings tocollege students,constructs the corresponding theoretical modelon the basis of existing theory,and then according to the theoretical model and the existing research results,selects personality and social anxiety as independent variables,establishes the relationship model between personality,social anxiety and mobile phone dependence,and verified,in order to provide more ideas and perspectives for the prevention and intervention of College Students' mobile phone dependence.This research recruited700 college students in Harbin,used the method of questionnaire,explored the relationship among personality,social anxiety and mobile phone dependence.the following conclusions:(1)The incidence rate of College Students' mobile phone dependence was 20.48%,Mobile phone dependencewassignificant difference amongdifferent of typeof major and grade.(2)The level of Social Anxiety of college students was high,Social Anxietywassignificant difference amongdifferent of typeof major and gender.(3)Neuroticism has significant positivecorrelation with mobile phone dependence;Conscientiousness,agreeableness,extraversionhas significant negative correlation with mobile phone dependence;There was a positive correlation between social anxiety and mobile phone dependence;Neuroticism was positively correlated with social anxiety,and conscientiousness,openness and extraversion were negatively correlated with mobile phone dependence.(4)Personality,social anxiety canpredict the mobile phone dependence;social anxietyhas not completely significant mediating effect between neuroticism,conscientiousness and the mobile phone dependence.Neuroticism and conscientiousness can not only directly affect the mobile phone dependence,but also indirectly affect the mobile phone dependence through social anxiety;social anxiety has a completely mediating role between extraversion and mobile phone dependence.Extraversion has a complete impact on mobile phone dependence through social anxiety.
