| Women have almost the same status with men in family of society.Husband and wife undertake all kinds of household spending together and decide all the family things,no matter what they are big or small.At the same time parents have the responsibility to take good care of their children,in other words,they should shoulder the responsibility together.For women,there is no need to give up their job to look after their baby.For men,they should also spend time on taking care of their baby.In marriage,western women are very independent,and few of them have the concept to rely on their husbands.Contrary to the western women,Japanese women's social status is very low.The main part of the society is men,not women.The pattern of Japanese family is that men himself make money for the family,while women quit the job and take care of all the family in the daily life.They are a typical of good wives and good mothers.Meanwhile,husband have the command of the cause of the difference of women's family status between western and eastern? This article research on the issue mainly from emotional roots between men and women.Through analyze the ideas on love between Japanese samurai and western knight,we find that they are impacted by their society.The two ideas on love are interpreted by two history tomes witch are "the death of king Arthur" and "genji","the death of king Arthur" is a typical masterpiece of knights love,and "genji" is a historical master piece about Japanese samurai core.The two works are mainly example to study the two ideas on love.Through comparing the purpose of love perception,the status of men and women in love,the attention to women's chastity,the attitude towards traditional thought and religion,etc.Although the two kinds of love have lots of similarities and differences.This article attempts to analyze the cause of the two kinds love and the impact of their society from two aspects the social root of two kinds of love and the role of women in social status. |
