Research On Ornamental Art Of The Kazakhs

Kazak is one of the multinational nomads which live in central Asian steppe and northern Xinjiang,as well as the second largest minority only to the Uighur population.Kazakh people created lots of art forms in production and living,such as narrative poem,Ken bards and arras embroidery.In 2006,kazak folk pattern was listed in the first national nonmaterial cultural heritage list.Kazak folk decorative art began in the Bronze Age.In the process of blend of eastern and western civilization,kazak folk pattern formed all kinds of decorative motives,such as animals,geometric lines and plant lines.Its artistic style transformed from natural simulation and single clumsy to abstract deformation and evolution of heterogeneous integration.This paper will discuss and deliberate kazak folk pattern according to classification,and on the origin,historical stages of design,style evolution,symbolism,and east and the west culture’s influence on the pattem formation and development.This paper mainly adopts the method of mutual proof(literature and images),field survey method.Based on the related arts and crafts of the archaeological data of carding and relatively recent kazak pattem,the paper analysis of the physical remains the kazak folk pattern with the central plains,homologous folk and outside art,preliminary has completed the historical roots of the kazak folk patterns,the classification of the motif and study the evolution of style.At last,proved the fact that kazak folk pattern is the accumulation of east and west civilization on silk road.
