The Study On Scientific Ethical Research Of Ziman's Post-academic Scientific Paradigms

John Ziman is a famous Britain scientist and philosopher of science.He aimed put forward many original views at the social nature of science which has obtained lots of breakthrough in meta science research field.This paper analyzes Ziman's contribution and extracts the scientific ethical connotation that Ziman scientific philosophy contains,and investigates the differences between Ziman's post-academic scientific paradigms and Merton's academic scientific paradigm.And further analyzes Ziman' s description of the reality of scientific practice,expound how Ziman unscrambled Merton college norm,and investigate Merton academic norm from sciencific ethics.By analyzing scientific metaphors of "map" which Ziman took as the scientific method and established as post-academic scientific thought.we find that,Ziman' s post-academic scientific paradigms is the unification of science's actual reality state and its rational state.The paper discussed Ziman' s post-academic scientific paradigms from the macro and micro two angles.First,from the angle of the micro,by analysing Ziman's new CUDOS in each of the scientific standard and its ethical connotation:Communism,Universalism,Disinterestedness,Skepticism and Originality of their new meaning and their ethical connotation.Then by analysising from the perspective of macro,we find the scientific ethical spirit of Ziman post-academic scientific paradigms.It is a kind of naturalist ethics,its features are from the angle of realism,which respect science and practical reality status,maintain a natural,tolerant attitude,and allow scientists to pursue their own interest.The science standards will change along with the practice and time.It Acknowledges the natural attribute of scientific observation and the dependency of science.It keeps rational and conscious to the value and significance of science.It has the good faith in the honesty of the subject of science.Ziman' s post-academic scientific paradigms brings enlightenment to scientific ethics.This mainly shows that the construction of science ethics that should be based on adequately recognization of the social property and daily psychological cognitive property.The construction of scientific ethics should go beyond the unrealistic scientific standards and the unrealistic scientific ethics norms,and the ideal understanding of science,it should try to learn from the positive influences of naturalism which reveals in post-academic scientific paradigms.
