Inhibition of return(IOR)is the tendency to inhibit orienting toward visual locations that have been previously attended.Based on the two-component theory, two mechanisms——sensory mechanism and motor mechanism, correspond to IOR effects observed following covert exogenous orienting and overt endogenous orienting, respectively. And some researchers suggested that these two independent mechanisms have been additive effects. The two cues in this study are effective cues, and therefore can not clarify whether a single cue to produce a return-inhibitory effect, and can not compare the role of the two cues whether there are differences,it should be included in the study cue conflict experimental context,Cues and the advantages of internal cues, and verify its superposition effect. With the improvement of technique and tactics and the improvement of competition rules, the single technology can not meet the requirements of the competition. The combination technique is more and more widely used. When the players use the combination technique, the continuous attack will result in different attacking effects.According to the superposition of the two-cue,the ipsilateral multiple attack may cause the opponent to have more significant return inhibition effect,Will also cause a certain interference effect.Based on the difference of the attention ability between the athletes and ordinary college students, the free combats have the possibility of facilitation, which can provide more effective information for the opponents to predict and reduce the attacking efficiency.According to these discussions,we plan to explore the influence of sensory mechanism and motor mechanism in free combat athletes comparing with undergraduate students. We wanted toprove the additive effects between sensory and motor mechanism;and compare the advantages between exogenous cues and endogenous cues with conflict. We also wanted to compare processing differences of cuesbetween free combat athletes and ordinary college students. There were 86 participitants, inclouding 42 undergraduate students and 44 free combats. We used Tobii T120 to make experiments. The designs of all three experiments are 2(group)× 4(cue)mixed subjects design. The group is between subject independent factor, and cue is within subjects independent factor. There're dependent factors: reaction time and IOR score. There were significant main effects of cues in all experiments. The main effect of group was only found in experiment two.And the significant interactions were observed in experiment three.Under the condition of consistent cues, there is a superposition effect between exogenous cues and endogenous cues.(1)Cue overlay effect of free combat athletes is more stable and independent of cue stimulus intensity. And in the condition of cue conflict, the external cue and the internal cue have the advantage competition, and the crowd difference appears, and the inhibition of return based onmotor mechanism is more obvious for free combatathletes. On the contrary, the college students only have the singlemechanism of the inhibitory of return.
