Primary Exploration Into The Composing Techniques Of Xiaoyong Chen's 'Kaleidoscope In Times'

Xiaoyong Chen is a famous Chinese American composer who is active in the international music scene.He has always been active in the breakthrough of the style and the characteristics of the individual style.This thesis is divided into five chapters with Chen Xiaoyong's orchestral work "Kaleidoscope in Times" as the research object.The first chapter introduces the composer and "Kaleidoscope in Times",introduced from the three aspects of the composer career,different period style characteristic and the composing background;analysis of the second chapter to the fifth chapter body works,respectively from the pitch materials,musical form structure,texture and orchestration by the analysis of the related composing skills the worksThe author as far as possible from the perspective of creation,and combined with the subjective experience of the sound,trying to sum up and refine the characteristics of Xiaoyong Chen's creative techniques.
