Russian-American composer Igor Fyodorovich Stravinsky is one of the most influential composers in the history of European music in the twentieth century, his early ballet masterpiece "Rite of Spring" was completed at the end of 1912,and premiered in Paris in 1913.It caused a great sensation in European music scene, and played the prelude of Twentieth Century Music. The Ballet "Rite of Spring " has its own individualism in several aspects of music: in the structure,Stravinsky borrowed a painting technique named "papier collé" from the famous Cubist school at his time,to put the music materials in parts of the music sections, and promote the development of music through the material itself or changes between different materials; In terms of rhythm,Stravinsky uses lots of irregular accents and unconventional beats, adding a kind of primitive, unpredictable mystery to the work;simultaneously,he uses a variety of styles in "Rite of Spring ",and it made the work full of different colors from the past.In this paper, the author is trying to have a deeper understanding of the works and composers through the analysis of Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring" in structure, rhythm and styles, and on the basis of the cultural and artistic soil at that time, corresponds with the creation of "Rite of Spring",so we can learn more about the early 20 th century Russian music culture,as well as the impact of the work on future generations.
