Alan Badiou(1937-)is a famous contemporary French left-wing philosopher, thinker and literary critic. His philosophy is not only with luxuriant but also like a big tree that roots deeply.Following the ancient Plato,Heidegger,Lacan and influenced by psychoanalysis and postmodernism, his extentsive works include:philosophy, literary theory, aesthetics, literature and art criticism, political science, mathematics, science, psychoanalysis, ethics and other fields. In contemporary nihilism, postmodernism thoughts prevailing,Alan Badiou holds a very critical view that "philosophy is dead",and attempts to establish a new type of philosophy. This philosophy model which is also known as the "philosophy of subject",is based on the relationship among three aspects the truth, the main, the event. This paper mainly selects Badiou ' body aspect to study, and analyze it from a variety dimension of philosophy, arts, politics and daily life.On the one hand, the author tried to redefine "revolutionary"according to his relevant translated works as in detail as possible. On the other hand, the author analyzed the philosophical principles and backgrounds of this thought, together with Badiou ' s practice of literary criticism and literary view. It's hard to say, whether his aesthetic philosophy guides his practice of literary criticism or his practice of literary criticism follows his philosophy. But in my opinion,it is more likely that they complement each other constructively.Alan Badiou' s"revolutionary" body aesthetics is not perfect and radical though. It also has the nature of utopia in the application process of theory and practice. However,he put forward a new theory of art from the level that philosophy is very valuable.Actually,Badiou is the successor of Marxist aesthetics, thus it is an important reference of the "kitsch" and "politicized" body. The paper is divided into four parts. The first part traces back the history of "body as the subject of philosophy",and elaborates Badiou' s"revolutionary" body aesthetics' background, cause and effect from the ideological, political, social and other aspects. The second part, further explains the connotation of "revolutionary" body thinking, redefines the concept of the word "revolutionary",and from the ideological premise, objective, external performance, inner power, the philosophical significance of aesthetic significance and development trend to comprehensive it.And then, reveal his view of art.(That is to the main body of this as the starting point, lead to body, art, truth and the relationship between the three).Badiou believes that, the active body is the communication bridge of truth and art.In the third part, through the comparison of Badiou's body aesthetics, and Nitzsch("enjoy"ofthebody),Foucault("disiplined"body),Freud("desired"body),Marx("lab or"body),the different is that,it is not a simple positive or negative body view, but advocated a "born to die" the body of practice, which has the milepost sense. The fourth part, focuses on the analysis of the limitations of the aesthetics of Alan Badiou. In the conclusion part, the author makes an overall grasp and evaluation of the philosophy of Badiou and analyzes it' s meaning and limitations, and affirms its contribution to contemporary French philosophy.
