As an existentialism master of Japan,Abe Kobo is a writer with special growth experience. When he was just a baby in infancy,Abe came to Manchuria of ChinaShenyang. It was not until he was 16 years old that he returned to Japan.Manchuria is the hometown of his growth and the origin of his literature, since his works are inextricably linked to Manchuria. This paper takes Abe Kobo's novels as the breakthrough point, starting from his Manchuria growth experience, and systematically reviews Manchuria imagery and image system in Abe's works. Then within the category of these systems,it interprets the profound analysis of Abe's “Manchuria experience” aiming to human existence situation. Finally the paper discusses the great influence and special contribution of the experience to his novel creation.Besides the introduction and conclusion, this essay is divided into five parts, and the second part and the fourth part are the main parts. In the introduction part, the article firstly points out the relationship between Abe's Manchuria experience and the novel creation, then summarizes the domestic and foreign research situation of Abe literature, and introduces the research methods and innovations of this paper. The first part mainly expounds the experience of Manchuria, and further points out the significance of this experience to the establishment of Abe's world outlook. The second part, based on Manchuria experience, summarizes Manchuria images in Abe's novels. No matter the Manchuria real geographical environment or spiritual desolation of postwar,Abe usually placed the environment of the novel in boundless desert. In his novel, enclosed space often appeared, such as wall, sand hole, cocoon and so on.They not only cut off the physical distance, but also separate the psychic distance between human beings. In the 1950 s and 1960 s,supported by the United States,Japan saw the high-speed economic development with the good situation. But Abe didn't think so.He had an insight into the multiple alienation hiding in the city and saw people's inner loneliness and fear caused by the multiple alienation. The third part refines the image system derived from Manchuria experience. In Abe's novel, the heroes often are at the edge of the world, thrown out of society without social understanding, and blocked in the isolated island, which constitute the lonely art group of Abe.At the same time, there is no lack of “deformed man” and “tramp” in the works, because they can't find the end result in spirit, and can only be alienated by the body,so they have to be spiritual tramp. The men and women in the city are like one another, wandering in the streets. The fourth partis the most important one of this paper. It mainly discusses Abe's thinking of human beings' existence with his Manchuria experience and explains the connection between the absurdity of the world and the existence of human beings, which Abe experienced, respectively from two periods-the war and the postwar.Of course, the value of his works is far more than just describing the absurdity of the world. Moreover,Abe points out the way of existence in this world for us-to find hope in despair. The fifth part focuses on the summary and summary of the great influence of the Manchuria experience on the creation of Abe literature, which leads to the deep thinking of the process of modernization in Japan and modern people. The conclusion part summarizes the research situation, significance and value of this paper. And it also points out some problems that need to be further studied, and looks forward to the trend of Abe literature research.
