This dissertation is a research of the following questions:Why music Being? How music Being? How music to be in each history period, and why those changes happened? Upon the essential quality of these questions, the author attributes the topic of the existence quomodo of music into the progression of western philosophy history, in order to find the origin reasons of that "why music should be exist" and "how should be music being" in the above mentioned history evolvement.As an inimitable element in the western civilization, music happened in human history as the culture production of what featured diversely under the different history period and distinctive philosophy ideas. It is clearly that there are three phase in the western philosophy history: ontological, epistemological and linguistic, they aimed at researching what is the "being" which as the subject of the world, discussing what is the world being recognized by human being, i.e. what is the thought of human being and caring what is the language which used as a expression method respectively.In the ontological period, the quomodo of music existed as transcendental, that is to consider the essence of music is an imitation of the world noumenon. Only the realistic world can be the absolute principle and ultimate noumenon, as noumenon not only provide the content and nature of music, but also require the music to reflect and imitate the authentic noumenon of the world, so that to reach the noumenon basis of the music-existence.In the epistemological period, the music existed as an experience, which means the life experience has been the first important significance for the creative product. The music is one of productions that emerge from a result of controlling the world in the aesthetic method by human being. The music being mode is reasonable logically turned from the external objects to the aesthetic subject, from the nature absolute noumenon which was entity in the past tradition and abstract noumenon of the world principle to the subject of human being’s life, from eternal invariability existence to the production of the combination of human being’s rationality and sensibility.In the linguistic period, music being turn to be a priorism existence, that means the music establish an independent kingdom, the music work can present the meaning of the music in itself. This priorism existence formed a new emotional method to face the "sound phenomena" directly pure. The aural experience extended ultimately, it not avoid the history of aesthetic experiment, but born a new fashion of that. So until to this period, while development of the philosophy history is still, the existence of music quomodo has gone through the transcendental existence which pursued the principle, experience existence which visualized the subject, and to reach the priorism which aim at to self-expression at last.The Existence Quomodo of music in the philosophy history experience ontological, epistemological and linguistic, which represented the transcendental existence, experience existence and priori existence respectively. The music existence mode is developing, altering and organismal, and still in a progression that undergoing with form and reform. But however, these changes are not stochastic, but predict and inevitable. These transformations happened all belong to the diversification and development of the philosophy, what is always look upon the essential of Zeitgeist essential.
