Research On The Tendency Of Pan-morality In Media Reports

In the current period of social transformation,the contradictions are highlighted,and some social fields do exist the phenomenon of moral anomie.The media is responsible for criticizing the dark reality and soaring society.But,some news events once cause social concern,the media tends to stand at the moral high ground,simply resorts to moral indignation and emotional criticism,moral evaluations in the report are infinitely overstated.As in the past,people believed in "either Revisionism or Marxism","either Socialism or Capitalism"evaluation criteria which lead to the generalization of ideology,some media takes either good or evil moral standards as the creed,which just distinguish and judge the social phenomenon between bad and good,leading to the generalization of morality.This kind of pan-moral tendency not only makes the news event not be objective and comprehensive,but also produces a negative demonstration effect on the audience's psychological and behavioral way.Based on the concern and thinking of above issues,pan-moral tendency in the media reports enter the author's research line of sight.On the basis of combing the concept of "pan-morality",this paper discovers the connotation of the generalization of the media and finds the problem of pan-morality:the moral consciousness,moral evaluation and moral criticism are infringed into other cultural fields.In reviewing the media's "moral criticism",it is found that moral transgression and expansion will lead itself to the opposite,eroding social trust.The general tendency in China's traditional culture,and problems of the media and the audience are important reasons for the emergence of pan-morality.Finally,the article mainly talks of how media reports go out of pan-moral misunderstanding from the media,the audience and the social point of view.The ultimate intention of this article is to use the topic of pan-moralization in the media reports,triggering everyone thinking about how morality in the current Chinese society should be to properly located.
