Values,as a core of culture and belong to the deep structure of culture.Hofstede likened the culture to an “onion” and divided the culture into four levels,in which the values were at the fourth level,the core of culture.Values can play a very important guiding role in people's thinking,behavior,language and communication methods and can be expressed through cultural practices.Cultural values produced identity behavior effectively,as the core of common sense owned by people under the same cultural background.It is the criteria for people's thinking and communication behavior.Cultural values penetrate the whole culture,reflecting the characteristics universal and differentiated among cultures.In terms of China and South Korea,the historical and cultural exchanges between the two countries have been a long time,and their traditional cultures have been deeply influenced by Confucianism.Therefore,they have many similarities.However,there are many differences on account of the geographical environment,national characteristics and other factors with the development of society.Cultural similarity makes the cross-cultural communication between the two countries can proceed smoothly,and cultural differences will lead to cross-cultural communication barriers,which is the research focus in cross-cultural communication and foreign language culture teaching.Since 2004,the world's first Confucius Institute was built in Seoul,South Korea.After this establishment,China and South Korea's language learning and cultural exchanges show a good development trend.Based on the purpose of helping Korean learners to learn Mandarin and Chinese culture better,this study mainly uses the relevant theories of cultural values to analyze the cultural values of cross-cultural communication in China and South Korea,and finds out cultural values' the similarities and differences between the two countries,at the same time,to analyze the impact on culture teaching by the difference of cultural values from the perspective of second language and culture teaching and to put forward some opinions and suggestions on the teaching strategies and methods of learning Chinese culture.The main contents of this study are five aspects: The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the background and the purpose of the study,research methods and its significance.The second part mainly elaborates the theoretical researches of cultural values,including its definition and theoretical model.The third part mainly makes contrastive analysis on the cultural values of China and South Korea,and introduces the characteristics and patterns of Chinese and Korean cultural values,and finds out the similarities and differences.The fourth part mainly analyzes the interaction between cultural values and the culture teaching of second language,with the questionnaire among Korean students from Ludong University International School and Chinese students from Inha University of Korea.The fifth part will put forward the strategies on the Chinese culture teaching for Korean students based on the research results of previous parts.The third,and the fifth parts are the key contents of this study.The sixth part is the conclusion of this study.
