With the growing of Chinese economy, more and more Chinese enterprises have the strength and need to participate in the international competition. But few of them succeed in the integration after enterprise M&A. This thesis tries to analyse Lenovo's case from the perspective of cross-cultural organizational communication.This thesis reviewed the case in the second charpt, and holds that cultural value difference is an important factor, which led to the difficulties of Lenovo Group.It analyse the impact of China-US cultural values'differences on Lenovo Group's integration with IBM PCD in the third charpt. Firstly the differences lead to vertical and horizontal communication discords within the Lenovo Group. And the vertical disorders, weakened the effect of directives, reduced executions significantly, which made it's difficult to put the company's plans into implementation. On the other hand, the disorders disturb the information's upstreaming, so it's hard for the managers to get and understand the first-hand information, thus affected the efficiency of decision-making, sometimes even result in false decision-making. And horizontal communication discords undermined internal harmony, caused distrust and alienation among employees, and eventually led to buck-passing and non-cooperation between the departments, which seriously affected the organization's operating efficiency. In addition, one of the most important reason that the Lenovo's PC market share is falling after mergering, is that the set of the original value system of lenovo Group, which compatible with Chinese cultural values is conflict with the overseas consumers'cultural values, and thus hurt its external communication.In the fourth charpt this thesis analyse the cultural value solutions, which was taken by the Lenovo Group, and pointed out the improperness of them. In addition, this thesis gives some suggestions to the Lenovo Group to deal with the cultural value problems.At last, this thesis pointed out several problems that our Chinese enterprises should be aware of, which based on the Lenovo Group's experiences and lessons.
