The development of contemporary Chinese society has achieved remarkable achievements,but the phenomenon of moral indifference has made us feel the seriousness of social ethics crisis,and the lack of good faith also causes the problem of ethical crisis intensified.In fact,these events reflect a series of ethical problems exposed by China in the process of social transformation,which is essentially an ethical crisis in china.In the public domain,to solve the problem of ethical crisis,it is necessary to analyze the essence of social ethics crisis of China and find out the reasons for it.At the same time,we need to understand the connotation of moral reason,and explain why moral reason is the key factor to solve the problem of social ethics crisis.Ethics in social relations is public ethics,at the present stage of our country appeared ethical crisis,it is actually in the public ethics we did not pay attention to individual behavior,especially the Chinese society is no longer the original “acquaintance society”,and the Chinese society has become a “stranger society”,In an acquaintance society,people mainly rely on family to maintain,it is the increase of personal contact,therefore,moral emotion can be said to be the key factor to govern individual behavior in an “acquaintance society”.People's economic activities are increasing,and social contacts are becoming more frequent.Generally speaking,contemporary China is in the period of social transformation.The society basically enters the “stranger society”.In the period of social transformation,the traditional moral system has collapsed,good order and the role of a predetermined structure specification being broken,the old values began to shake,and the modern moral system is not perfect,social harmony is broken to a certain extent,the relative ethics loses the ability of interpersonal relationship,interpersonal relationship is people generally feel nervous,feeling weak,based on the past “emotion” has been unable to maintain a good relationship with each other.In addition,in the period of social transition,the society of strangers has come,the people's behavior in the stranger society can not only rely on emotional factors,and it should be based on reasoning to guide behavior.But in our country,ethical emphasis is placed on moral and emotional indoctrination,and it does not emphasize the existence of rational people like western society.Therefore,the social transformation of China,the degree of distrust among people increases constantly,which gradually causes the indifference of human nature,self interest,guarding and self conceit,this situation brings the development of a relationship between social groups is not good.None of my business mentality which leads to the social bad phenomenon,it caused the insecure situation.This requires that we can no longer be guided by moral emotion in public ethics,but rely on moral reason.Therefore,the article analyzes moral reason from three aspects.First of all,to understand the current situation of China ethical crisis,and analysis of the causes.Secondly,explains the connotation,status and function of moral reason,and the response of moral reason to ethical crisis.Finally,in order to understand the cultural origin of moral reason,we should make full use of the beneficial parts of the rational thought in western society and actively create conditions to foster the environment and conditions for the growth of moral reason.Only in this way,it is possible to make our society develop more orderly and harmonious.Thus,we can realize that to solve the problem of ethical crisis in the public ethics,we must rely on the basis of individual behavior--moral reason.
