With the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the theoretical basis of teaching Chinese as a foreign language has been continuously strengthened,the classification of the subject is more detailed.Cause of the differences of the students and the divisions of the subject,there are more and more textbooks having been be published,the types of teaching materials more and more rich.The compilation of teaching materials is more and more concerned by experts and scholars.In the recent years,the research on the compilation of teaching materials is deepening,how to write an excellent textbook for teaching Chinese as a foreign language has become the focus of research.This paper selects two intermediate Chinese textbooks,one is<Boya Chinese · Intermediate(second edition)> which was published by Beijing University Press in 2013,and the other one is<Developing Chinese· Intermediate on comprehensive course(second edition)> which was published by Beijing Language and Culture University Press in 2011.The thesis is divided into three parts,the first part is the introduction and summary of the current research results of teaching materials,using literature method,reference to the dissertation of the experts and scholars in the compilation of textbooks.The second part is based on the actual situation of the two materials,making a contrastive analysis on five parts: compiling concept,text,vocabulary,grammar and practice.Each of which also contains some small aspects of the details.From the detail to the whole,researching the characteristics of the two textbooks,the advantages and disadvantages of the two textbooks are analyzed.The final part is a summary of the full text,summarizing the advantages of the two materials in the preparation of the various parts,putting forward my own suggestions and comments at the same time.This paper adopts literature method,data statistics and comparative analysis.The study is based on the two textbooks,according to the views of the scholars and teaching experience,through the comparative analysis to get the final conclusion..I hope the study will be value to the textbook writing in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
