Reseaches On The Concept Of The Contemporary Conceptual Painting Of China

"Conceptual Art" originated from the West in the 1960 s,it focuses on the expression of "thought" and the expression of "idea".It is not subject to the constraints of "Aesthetic Purity" in traditional art,declares the disintegration of "modeling centerism" and "aesthetic centralism",as a new art landscape of "poetic thinking" that "concept" combination with "art form" and "concept" transcends the "form" medium."Conceptual painting" refers to the art of drawing,modeling,expressing closely around the concept(or thought)furnishings,and as a fundamental significance of the painting.Its focus lies in the new attitude of painting,the concept of wording and critical thinking,is "Visual Allegory" which is full of rational spirit.Around 1980,the "conceptual art" in the West tends to silence,triggered the "post-historical art" concept emerged,and aroused the re-discussion of "End of Art" in the art scholars.In China,with the "85 New Wave Art Movement",the "conceptual art",as a new thing of modern western culture,has entered the vision of China contemporary art,and then influenced the spiritual climate of China contemporary art.In practice,the "conceptual art" shelf-oriented phenomenon prompted the painting as a main form in addition to the installation art,becoming the "image as history.evidence" of China contemporary art innovation process.The core elements of "conceptual painting"--"concept","metaphor" and "program",which is related to the life "phenomenon" of art itself,is closely related to the dynamic change of the cultural turn.This article will combine the concrete creation practice,pay attention to the mental outlook,the narrative strategy,the cultural characteristic,the aesthetic interest and so on performance of the contemporary “conceptual painting" of China,and comprehensively uses the imageology,sociology,artistic philosophy and other methods to study the "concept" of the contemporary "conceptual painting" of China.This paper is divided into four parts:(1)The first part is the introduction,which introduces the research significance,existing research situation,research ideas and research methods.(2)The second part analyzes the relationship between concept and art,the cultural origin of "conceptual painting",and briefly introduces the occurrence and development of the contemporary "conceptual painting" of China.(3)The third part is the study of the concept of the contemporary "conceptual painting" of China.It is composed of five units.The first unit combs the mainstream "idea" of the contemporary "conceptual painting" of China: Pop Surrealism,Nouveau Realisme,modern ink painting;The second unit explores the "conceptual" structure of the contemporary "conceptual painting" of China from three levels: perceptual representations,image objects,and image metaphors;In the third unit,give the philosophical division of the "concept" in the contemporary "conceptual painting" of China,that is humanism,existentialism and ecologism;The fourth unit mainly elaborates on the aesthetic modes of the contemporary "conceptual painting" of China: the relationship aesthetics,the shocking aesthetics and the life aesthetics;The fifth unit analyzes the special modernity of concept of the contemporary "conceptual painting" of China: the coexist of Modernity and Post Modernity.(4)Conclusion: It is pointed out that the contemporary "conceptual art" of China belongs to our cultural banner,the philosophical speculation in the contemporary "conceptual painting" of China,the inspiration of "vision" and "reason" brought by the "conceptual Allegory",reflects the conscious efforts of China contemporary art in the turning period and its thinking about the artistic noumenon,values,human existence and national destiny.The in-depth study of its "concept" is the mission of art criticism,and the scientific research achievement is the theoretical cornerstone of its follow-up and stable development.
