Study On The Adverbs In Travel Diary Of Tiantai Wutai Mountain

The dynasty of Tang and Song is an important period for the formation and development of modern Chinese,and it is also an important stage of the development of Chinese adverbs.This period of adverb research has made a lot of important results.But almost all for the Chinese and Chinese literature launched.Travel Diary of Tiantai Wutai Mountain is a well-known foreign sibling from Japan to the Chinese monks in the middle of the eleventh century,the book preserved a lot of oral material in the Tang and Song dynasties for us to further study the Tang and Song language a new perspective.This article regard The new correct of Travel Diary of Tiantai Wutai Mountain wrote by Wang Liping as the foundation to revealed comprehensively the basic face of adverbs.This paper divided into six parts.Firstly,The first part cleared the reason of the topic selection and the significance of the study and explained the basic situation of the author and the version of the book,then descried the version of this article,introduced the language research and the author,summarized the gains and losses of the predecessors’ research to make a further study on the adverbs of the Travel Diary of Tiantai Wutai Mountain,finally,explained the research ideas and research methods adopted in this paper.In the second chapter,191 adverbs are divided into seven class,included range adverbs,frequency adverbs,degree adverbs,time adverbs,modal adverbs and negative adverbs,according to the function and meaning standard.The third chapter firstly elaborate meticulously the sub-class of adverbs and discuss the source of each adverb,and then describes its semantic features and grammatical functions.On this basis,it also studies the combination function of Adverbs and the Modified component,which has multiple dimensions,including the choice of the adverbial grammatical attribute of the adverb,the choice of the adverb to the modified syllable,the choice of the adverb in the affirmative form or the negative form,and the combination between adverbs and adverbs,and finally analyze the problem of adverbs as complement.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the source of 9 special adverbs,such as "Always","Orderly","As if","Probably","Despite","Unconsciously","One by one".the semantic features and grammatical functions of these adverbs are analyzed in detail.The fifth chapter mainly examines the form of polyphonic adverbs,and divides 29 polyphonic adverbs into 5 class according to Formal Typology,such as overlapping type,append-ant,concatenation type,Partial-formal,conjunctive adverbs.And discuss the internal structure and formation process of the various types of polyphonic adverbs.The sixth chapter is the conclusion part,through the above inquiry,to summarizes the overall characteristics of the adverbs briefly and sum up the evolution of the adverbs of the Travel Diary of Tiantai Wutai Mountain.
