Natural Literature,in the view of theory of ecological holism,with the modern ecological aesthetics for writing guidance,takes the protogenic natural image as it’s text subject and bears strong modern eco-ethics.Such works bitterly criticize the ruthless havoc that human beings have wrecked on nature and advocate the rebuilding of an ideal society where mankind and nature live harmoniously together.Thus,they have demonstrated a brand-new aesthetic idea and built a wide aesthetic space.In China,Natural Literature in modern times was created by Mr.Liu Xianping,an author from Anhui province,in 1980s.Nature adventures of nearly 40 years,solid and profound literary accomplishment and infinite love and deep thinking on the natural world inspired writers created each landmark natural literature.Everything treats each other equally and lives harmoniously in his works,the author looks at the relationship between mankind and nature by taking everything in nature and themselves equally,and he can discover and demonstrate the genuine and flexible aspects of things in nature.In the novel to show the natural world is full of vigor and vitality,has the incomparable beauty of nature.Whereas,fly in the ointment is that the original natural beauty had vanished,and cause to blame for all this is humans.With the deepening of the natural knowledge,the ecological ethical consciousness of Liu Xianping critique human ignorance and destruction of natural is more and more strongly in the process of his text creation.Eventually,Liu Xianping takes the ideal of a better pursuit of harmonious coexistence between mankind and nature as the theme of Nature literary creation.This thesis aims at teasing the development of Natural Literature,gradually clear the significance of natural theme in Chinese and foreign history of literature,and aesthetically interpreting the natural literature of Liu Xianping,discussing the ecological aesthetic value of Natural Literature,and expecting to develop more ecological spiritual resources.The thesis can be divided into four chapters.Introduction:This part expounds the reasons for selecting this subject is that contemporary serious ecological environment crisis,attention of the whole society of ecological environmental protection and the boom of natural literary creation and ecological aesthetic thoughts.The theoretical study of relevant literature both at home and abroad,although started late,but research harvest has been acquired.The multiple realistic meaning of the aesthetic study of natural literature is not only guide the literary creation,but also advocate the ecological civilization and wash the human’s mind world.Chapter 1:The developing process of Natural Literature.This chapter clears up the ups and downs of Natural Literature in China and foreign literary history,expands discussion mainly from such four periods as chaotic period,resonant period,fading period and new period and this probes into the enlightenment that such changes have brought on modern Chinese Natural Literature.This chapter is bases on the literary history and combining literary history and theory together.Chapter 2:The aesthetic interpretation of Mr.Liu Xianping’s Natural literature.Beauty in nature diversities in number whereas differs in type.Natural Literature incorporates all things in nature into literary works,in which have integrated into each other,thus natural aesthetic characteristics have been created.To summarize,the literary description of natural beauty by Liu Xianping’s Natural Literary can be divided into three genres:spectacular biological world,marvelous mountains and waters and variable meteorological scene.The description of nature in here is not only an appreciation,but also a reflection.It differs mostly from other literary works describing nature in that it contains deep humanism and contemplation of the relationship between mankind and nature.Chapter 3:Ecological aesthetic value of Nature Literature.This chapter discusses the importance of the creation and transmission of Nature Literature from the aspect of its ecological aesthetic value based on a questionnaire on the reading status of Nature Literature.It mainly expounds two aspects of ecological aesthetic value of Nature Literature:spiritual therapy and poetic survival,and it inquires into the ecological aesthetic value of Natural Literature from such two dimensions as establishing ecological morality and harmonious co-existence between mankind and nature.Conclusion:Summarizing the aesthetic meaning of Liu Xianping’s Natural Literature creation,emphasizing the importance of harmonious,bringing good expectations for future literary creation and research of Natural Literary.
