Social anxiety is a common social disorder, mainly manifested as an individual's anxiety symptoms in the face or expectation of a social situation, often accompanied by evasive behavior.Subjective social status and personal sense of power as an individual's self-awareness of social status and influence, control of others, has an impact on social anxiety. In this study, the college students in Wuhan and Changsha were used as subjects, and the subjective social status scale, personal sense of power scale and interaction anxiousness scale were used as the tools to explore the relationship among subjective social status, personal sense of power and social anxiety. The study got the following conclusions:(1)There is a significant difference in the subjective social status of college students in the place of origin, whether cadres and monthly disposable income. There are significant differences of social anxiety in gender and whether cadres.(2)There is a certain correlation between the two kinds of personal sense of power, and the level of family power of college students is obviously higher than that of school power. There is a significant difference in the sense of school power in the place of origin, whether cadres, whether the only child and the monthly disposable income. The school power sense presents a trend from high to low and then rises in the grade of college students, the sense of family power shows the same tendency to decrease first and then rise, and there is a significant difference of family power only in the grade.(3)Subjective social status is positively correlated with two kinds of individual power, and negatively correlated with social anxiety. Both personal sense of power are negatively correlated with social anxiety. The relationship between subjective social status and social anxiety has a significant mediating effect, which is a partial mediating role.It is not obvious that the effect of the sense of family power is found in the two mediators model test of the school power and the sense of family power as two mediating variables.
