In more than ten years of creative career,Zhang Ling is the leader of new immigrant literature in North America.She wrote a lot of novels and has attracted wide attention of scholars.At the end of last century,the "Wangyue" marks Zhang Ling officially entered the literary world.Later,Zhang Ling has published "Jiaocuode bian" and "Yougouxinniang",the three novels are collectively referred to as the"Jiangnan trilogy".According to the personal experience of life,Zhang Ling created many characters which are on the edge of eastern and Western cultures.They have a hard life in foreign countries.Through the description of the love and marriage and the work life of the immigrants,the writer gives hope and faith to their future.With the increase of literary experience,Zhang Ling's writing became more daring.In "Golden Mountain" and "pains",she turns her attention to a person and his family history.At the same time,the grand social history has become a foil for the background of the characters,showing the survival of ordinary people,the real human nature.Enter the first ten years of the new century,Zhang Ling's creation has changed steadily.In order to omniscient point of view to observe human nature,She put people and things together.Throughout the three stages of Zhang Ling's creation,she insisted on caring humanity.As a writer with a dual cultural background,Zhang Ling tends to downplay the cultural conflicts between the East and the West.The influence of Chinese traditional ethics education and Western Christian culture,Zhang Ling insists on the beauty of human nature and forms a kind of warm view of human nature which is embodied in the following chapters.The introduction part introduces Zhang Ling's life,novels,research status illustrates the necessity of the research.The first chapter focuses on the main content of human nature.Zhang Ling believed that the human nature writing first lies in "establishes the human".She avoided the traditional hero,but to all the common people at all times and in all countries included in the scope of writing,with sympathy for their plight.Secondly,Zhang Ling portrayed many female characters.Because of a keen female perspective,the write feel the pain of women.Zhang Ling praised the traditional virtues of women's goodness and tenacity.At the same time,she encouraged more and more women to get rid of the shackles of traditional culture,to comply with the reasonable desire of the heart,to obtain the true dignity of personality.Finally,in the face of the distortion of human nature in modern society,she did not escape,but with a moderate attitude to understand and forgive,and gives hope at the end of the novel.The second chapter study the artistic skills of the warm human view.In order to examine the beauty of human nature,Zhang Ling created many typical characters which are the epitome of the general public.And then she created a large number of classical aesthetic image.For example,Asparagus fern and water represents a good human nature.Finally,Zhang Ling used the narrative perspective of diversification,all-round,three-dimensional display of true humanity.In the third chapter,in order to have a comprehensive understanding of her creation,we study the reasons of her writing.Zhang Ling's humanism comes from Chinese traditional ethics education,Christian love and redemption,childhood experience and family gene.The fourth chapter discusses the relationship between literature and human nature.Through the comparison of Zhang Ling and Yan Geling's novel,we have got the difference.Her aim is to promote the cultural exchanges between the East and the west,and to move towards harmony in the dialogue through the concern of the universal human nature which spans the race and culture.
