The Creation Techniques And Pitch Organization In Ligeti's Hamburg Concerto

Ligeti Gy?rgy is the most influential Hungarian composers after Bartók.Also,he is the most creative composers of the twentieth Century.Through his works,Ligeti tells people that in addition to traditional music and sequence music,there are other forms of music,such as mechanical music,static music,and so on.He uses the technical means such as microtone,polyrhythm,micro-polyphony,natural overtone and so on,to make the very simple pitch material into a very complex sound color.To get rid of the limitation of the equal temperament is the pursuit of the composer in twentieth Century.Ligeti's first attempt to use microtone appeared in the Romania Concerto.Afterwards,he put these two swings together in the Piano Trio,Violin Concerto and Hamburger Concerto,so as to get rid of the control of law of equal temperament.In this paper,we chose Ligeti's Hamburger Concerto as the research object.Based on the basic pitch of the just intonation(overtone column)and the equal temperament,this paper makes a detailed analysis of the main pitch relations and creative techniques.This article consists of the following parts: the first chapter introduces the life of Ligeti and the Hamburger Concerto creation background;the second chapter and the third chapter take the example of the pitch in the work,from the perspective of just intonation(overtone column)and the equal temperament,mainly research the pitch relationship between solo horn,obbligato horn(natural)and the band in Hamburger Concerto.In the fourth chapter,the author mainly studies the pitch relationship between the seven movements of Hamburg concerto from the perspective of creative techniques.
