Gy(?)rgy Sándor Ligeti is the most influential composer in 20 century.His composition fulls of character affects modern musical techniques profoundly.Hamburg concerto is the last production of him.There are manifold application of new technique to composition and with the style that Ligeti's own.In this production,Ligeti used the two systems of temperament with skilled way to produce the relationship of pitch and the novel timbre.This paper analyzes the "Hamburg Concerto" from the aspects of pitch material,rhythm and texture,design of timbre,and the thinking of polyphonic contained in the works.The logic that the composer uses the overtones as the organizational melody,comprehensively uses the rhythms of mechanized rhythm,fixed rhythm and horizontal multiple transformations,and a variety of texture patterns dominated by linear textures.In the design of the timbre,“beat Frequency” provides a novel auditory effect for the work,and the timbre is used as a structural factor.There is a large number of imitative polyphonic techniques are used.The subject imitated is not only limited to rhythm and pitch,but extends to the sequence of the sequence of harmonics.In some clips that use imitative polyphony,due to the tight interweaving of the voices,the acoustics of each part are no longer as clear and independent as they are in the traditional polyphony,but are integrated together.
