Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoyevsky,one of the greatest realistic writers of Russia in the 19th century,is well known to the world for his profound social observation,in-depth psychological portrayal,diverse and complex religious thoughts.Dostoevsky has created hundreds of distinctive characters throughout his life,which to some extent reflect his humanism and moral consciousness.However,among all those characters created by Dostoevsky,the"devil-style" children are the most successful figure images due to their complex personalities,varied and three-dimensional psychological connotations as well as multiple and profound implications.Dostoevsky has contributed his whole life to the research and thinking on the images of these children.Multiple issues can be reflected from these "devil-style" children,including family education,social moral problems and issues of religion and philosophy.A careful study of the"devil-style" children in Dostoevsky's novels will help us get a more complete and in-depth comprehension of his views on children,humanity and evil.At the same time,further understandings will be achieved on children's mental development and psychological status.Therefore,the research object of this paper mainly focuses on the images of"devil-style" children shaped by Dostoevsky.Based on the novel texts,this paper will conduct a classified study of children according to the differences in their behavior patterns,investigate their characteristics and further explore Dostoevsky's art of narration on the images of "devil-style" children.Meanwhile,by adopting the method of internal focalization,this paper will analyze the causes from the perspective of children and discuss the values of the"devil-style" children shaped by Dostoevsky,which mainly consisting of breaking habitual cognition,balancing dialogue perspective and deepening the nature of human.
