Study On The Diversification Of Collage Photography Art Of David Hockney

This thesis aims to study on David Hockney,s unique form of artistic expression——collage photography,by analyzing the diversit.y of’ ideas,forms and other aspects to explore the ideological roots of contemporary avant-garde art.This thesis discusses the rationality and possibility of the formation and development of the form of collage photography,and expounds the characteristics and tension of David Hockney’ s collage photography.His whole art works penetrate the cubism color and oriental aesthetic charact eri stics,which displays the multiple influence of the creative thinking of Hockney.Hockney’s art concept,"seeing painting from the perspective of photography",and "seeing photography from the perspective of painting" and his thinking mode are wel l expressed in his painting and photography:from unique observation and psychological perspective,breakthrough multiple perspective integration,and visual language structure and construction analysis.This thesis analyzes the fusion of Hockney’s artitic style absorption and innovation,in order to interpret the multiple transcendence of’ Hockney’ s collage photography art.It is well-known that Hockney has great influencce on the contemporary art and the influence of his works on contemporary art is self-evident.Hockney’s collage photography is not only an art style,but also a creative method and attitude of life,and he breaks through the traditional rules to craft his unique creation style.Hockney’s collage photography is undoubtedly an art revolution.He reveals that there is a delicate affinity between art and technology.
