Learning Calligraphy Must Take Zhong Yao's And The Two Wang's Calligraphy As The Foundation

The article mainly talks about the historical value of Zhao Mengfu's early calligraphic style and the contemporary significance.The article mainly carries out the discussion from three aspects.Firstly,fix the scope.By synthesizing the research result of contemporary calligraphy,connecting the analysis of work plates and taking the chirography as the foundation to classify,fix the Zhao's early calligraphic style as the period before the first year of Yuan Zhen era,which is before 1295.In the early times,Zhao Mengfu studies the calligraphy of Zhao Gou's and later he learnt from Zhong Yao and the two Wangs.Secondly,clearly analyze his thought.Through Zhao Mengfu's early outing,interpret its specific presentation of his restoration thoughts from three aspects-calligraphy,painting and poems and focuses on the interpretation of his retro calligraphic thought.Through the preface and postscript of painting and calligraphy and the exchange of poems and essays,when he went outing with Xianyu Shu,Deng Wenyuan and Dai Biaoyuan,detailedly analyze their common retro literary theory.Then,conduct the research and perform the practice.Through the comments on Zhao's calligraphy from three generations of Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties,the article initially summarizes and then respectively conducts the specific analysis on classification from learning from Zhao Gou and adopting the calligraphic skills from the Two Wangs and learning the regular script from Zhong Yao,etc.so as to clearly analyze the the implementation of practice of his retro calligraphic thoughts.In the end,taking Zhao's early routes of learning calligraphy,which is taking the skills of Zhong's and the Two Wangs' calligraphic skills as the standard,and the calligraphic thought of‘innovating the ancient calligraphy' as the enlightenment,tease out the activities of his learning calligraphy and creative practice.
