The calligraphers of the Yuan Dynasty were deeply influenced by Zhao Mengfu. They studied “Zhao Ti” and Yu He was one of the outstanding calligraphers. He was good at all kinds of styles, and all of them had their own unique style.More importantly,Yu He has been sheltered by “Zhao Shu” for a long time, and many of his calligraphic works have been regarded as Zhao Mengfu's true works, which indirectly influenced later generations of calligraphers.By studying Yu He and his calligraphy, this paper objectively analyses and evaluates Yu He's calligraphy style, combing out the similarities and differences between Yu He's and Zhao Mengfu's calligraphy, classifying and summarizing the counterfeiting methods of Zhao Mengfu's counterfeit calligraphy.Taking the?Lin Lantingxv?collected by Wuxi Museum as an example, this paper provides some reference for identifying the counterfeit works of Zhao Mengfu, and reexamines Yu He's position in the history of calligraphy and the influence and value of Yu He's calligraphy from various angles.
