Research On The Relationship Between Poetry,Calligraphy,Painting And Seal Of Zhao Mengfu's Creations Of Art

This thesis focuses on Zhao Mengfu's creations of poetry,calligraphy,paintings and seals,aiming to discuss the relationship between these four categories of art.Furthermore,to figure out the reasons why these four categories can be fused in the works of paintings.This thesis also provides some ideas about the history of Zhao Mengfu's social life in Yuan Dynasty,the trends of his aesthetic interests,the fusion of different categories of art and the style of his creations.Zhao Mengfu had excellent essentials of basic training in poetry,calligraphy,paintings and seals.He has been the transitions of the old and the new times of connecting the creations of those four categories of art,which gives us an opportunity to do further research on this phenomenon.It is too unilateral to analyze this phenomenon only through the mode of composition.To analyze his growing up,social life,process of creation,aesthetic interests and artistic style would be a better way.Zhao's social life helped him to do the basic training of theory and practice of art creations,which lead to the fusion of the four categories of creation unconsciously.His aesthetic interests make the different works of art be linked with each other and finally form the quaternity of his creations,which influenced the artists in Yuan and Ming Dynasty and laid the foundation of the trend of creations by intellectuals in the later times.
