An Experiment Study Of The Effect Of Ego Depletion And Social Value Orientation On Cooperation Behavior

When making cooperation,people will be subject to a variety of factors,and these factors,probably divided into stability or instability factors.Stability factors are personal characteristics,instability factors man-made control.This study is divided into two experiments to explore this issue.In the experiment 1,we used the two kinds of research paradigms of dictator game and public goods game.We selected college students as experimental subjects and used the Tobii Eye Movement to explore the influence of ego depletion on cooperative behavior in the instability environment.The conclusions are as follows:1,In the dictator game,the game' contribution and the reaction time are affected by the ego depletion,and the subjects could do more contribution in a shorter time without ego depletion;Subjects in the public goods game,the contribution of investment and reaction time will not be affected by ego depletion.2,Subjects in the dictator game,no ego depletion of the subjects have a higher degree of concern than the ego depletion of subjects;In the public goods game,the task of the attention have no difference whenever ego depletion.Experiment 2 uses the dictator game and Tobii Eye Movement,with the variable of social value orientation,selected the college students as the experimental subjects,and the influence of the interaction between ego depletion and social value orientation on cooperative behavior is discussed.The conclusions are as follows:1,Subjects in the dictator game,with the social value orientation,cooperation orienting subjects in the process of cooperation will be affected by ego depletion,no ego depletion will make more contribution.2,There was no difference in the reaction time of the different social values.3,In the dictator game,different social value orientation of the subjects have no significant difference in the concern of the task.
