Agricultural cooperation movement played an important part in the transition of our country from the New-democratic Society to the Thoroughly Socialist Society after 1949. This movement is a great practice done by the Communist Party of China on remolding the village economic and social system as well as an essential condition for remolding the city capitalist industry and commerce and building the industrial system. Therefore, the launching of the agricultural cooperation movement after 1949 and the developing of it are significantly important in reforming the social system and consolidating the state power. In this thesis, the writer illuminates the reason why agricultural cooperation movement accelerated from the angle of social mobilization in order to reveal the internal motivation of the climax of the agricultural cooperation movement from 1953—1956. The writer refers to the large quantity of historical documents and texts in order to analyze the historical background of how social mobilization came into being during the agricultural cooperation movement, the historical necessity and the social basis of the social mobilization, and the especially important historical role of social mobilization in the realization of the country's development strategy as well as the sophisticated social consequences. In this thesis, the writer points out the characteristics of the social mobilization in then economic and political system, and reviews the social influence of the social mobilization. By doing these, the writer illustrates the laws of the social mobilization in the agricultural cooperation movement, elaborates on the importance of the social mobilization in the country'development, and demonstrates the importance of the social mobilization as a political heritage to the construction of nowadays political civilization and the being of the specific political cultural.This thesis is divided into five parts. In the introduction part, the significance and current studies of the topic and the basic concepts are demonstrated. In chapter one, the particularity of choosing the social mobilization in the agricultural cooperation movement from 1953—1956 is given based on the then political, economic and cultural situations. In chapter two, a thorough discussion is given on the dynamisms of launching the social mobilization and the characteristics of operating the social mobilization. In chapter three, the social reaction and the influence of the social mobilization in the agricultural cooperation movement from 1953—1956 are given from the angles of the historical reflection and realistic enlightenment. In the conclusion chapter, the main points of this thesis are given.
