Sergei Sergeyevich Prokofiev(April 23,1891-March 5,1953)was a famous composer,pianist and conductor of the former Soviet union.His name is associated with the musical life of the entire upper half of the twentieth Century.Prokofiev's works,which are one of the most famous composers of the twentieth Century,try to show the image of the Russian national style and show their preference for classical composers in the eighteenth Century.This thesis is based on Prokofiev's piano suite of and Juliet(Op.75),which is divided into three chapters.The first chapter introduces the composer's life and the general style and Piano vocabulary.The second chapter introduces the background of Romeo and Juliet "s Ballet and piano suite,and makes a brief analysis.The third chapter respectively control key touch on"Romeo and Juliet" the piano suite in the ten piece of music,the use of pedals,phrase level,sound and other aspects of performance analysis,summed up the drama of the suite,struggle and Lyric style."Romeo and Juliet" piano suite as Prokofiev's classic ballet musical adaptation of the piano works,compared to other piano works,has a rich imagination more dramatic color,rich picture.In this paper,the author tries to sum up the experience and enhance the musical performance of this kind of work through the analysis of performance.And find out the relevance of drama,ballet and Piano works.
