In July 1956,after revision,"People's Daily" officially restored the eighth edition of the supplement.As the largest newspaper in domestic industry controlled and dominated by the Chinese Communist Party master,it is not only the most important and most authoritative media to reflect and convey the will of our ruling party,but also an important way of ideological control.Therefore,at the same time when the literary supplement of the "People's Daily" is in the publication of literary works,it has actively participated in contemporary Chinese literary criticism activities,profoundly impacted on the changes in contemporary Chinese literary trends,but also bore the responsibility to convey the mainstream ideology of the country.In all published literary works,we are concerned about a more special part-reproduced.Reprinting is a very common way in newspaper publications,for some purpose,editors choose other newspapers to publish works for re-dissemination.The literary supplement of the "People's Daily" has stronger purpose of choice in the reprint.In the process of secondary transmission,the literary works reproduced,to a certain extent,has changed,different from the meaning,purpose,influence and status of the original publication.Some works have aroused widespread concern in the the social and literary circles,which not only has an impact on the development of literature,but also on the creation of writers.The object of this paper is the works reproduced in the "People's Daily" literary supplement from July 1956 to May 1966 before the Cultural Revolution.Firstly,I collected and sorted out the reproduced works,and then made their analysis,which is mainly divided into four chapters:The first chapter mainly analyzes the status of the People's Daily and the relationship with other publications to examine the literary supplement and literary production.The second chapter analyzes deeply the characteristics of the article reproduced in the past ten years and its influence,including the main elements of the official ideology discourse,the influence of supervisors and editors,and the reader's expectations of reading.In the third chapter,the "field" theory is used to evaluate and classify the works reproduced in this period.It is clearly divided into the poems in the "Great Leap Forward" movement,the "boost" articles in the literary criticism movement,the eulogy of socialist construction,the interpretation during the creation and development of drama,the translation of the major time nodes,aiming to explain how the various actors conspire to complete the reprint behavior,and the actors expect to achieve their own intentions in the "field".The fourth chapter explains the meaning of the work.This article believes that the literary supplement of the "People's Daily has a really strong purpose in article-reprinting.In the process of the second transmission,these articles expand the scope of impacts,and even play a guiding role on the construction of mainstream ideology and the formation of literary norms.By studying the way of reprinting,this paper presents the historical picture of newspaper supplements as a literary way of production to discuss the cultural images in this historical picture.
