As a fundamental purpose of Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language,it is to cultivate an ability of efficiently communication for the international students.But right now,there is a frequent phenomenon existed that international students can get a good grade in their Chinese test after sometimes of learning,however,it doesn't mean they have possessed the capability to use what they have learnt in real life.It often shows they failed to understand the real purpose of the people who ‘s talking to them and sometimes to express themselves precisely.One of the reasons is that international students use the Chinese Discourse Markers incorrectly and they can't understand it when others use them in a conversation.Chinese Discourse Markers is a language phenomenon that attached to oral language.It usually appears in spoken language and seems meaningless.But as a matter of fact,it brings an abundant language functions.Not only it can serve as a link,a pause,a hint and many other roles,but also a very great way to express emotions.Although Chinese Discourse Markers is an important subject of Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language and triggers teachers as well as scholars' attention increasingly,it is still a nearly blank filed in China.In this article,we will investigate the conditions of using,learning and understanding specific language function among the international students through targeting one single Marker.This article divided into five chapters:1.Introduction,reasons and meaning for choosing the subject,description of former people's research,the study range,the source of materials in the article,the study techniques and the steps to complete the study.2.Analysis on attitudes of using and learning Chinese Discourse Markers among the international students.3.Investigation and analysis on using the specific Marker---“wogennishuo” among the international students.4.Analysis on understanding the specific language function of “wogennishuo” among the international students According to the survey report.5.Study the feedback and inspiration.Finding the problems when students learning and using Chinese Discourse Markers by analyse the conclusion from chapter2,3 and 4.And make suggestions towards Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.
