Research On The Efficiency For Cultural Industry In Western China

Cultural industry is the carrier to promote cultural development and prosperity,it has a strategic position and a leading positionin the national economy.With the economic,technological and other industries infiltrating and blending in the cultural industry,creating more new cultural formats.In many areas,cultural industry changing from the edge of the industry to the center of the industry.The western region has rich historical cultural,ecological culture,national culture and other resources.The implementation of “the Belt and Road Initiatives” and new round of “opening to the west” accelerates the marketization and commercialization of cultural resources and boosts the development of cultural industries.However,because the cultural industry is a highly connected industry,cultural activities and has a strong economic attributes,will inevitably involve input-output problems,namely,efficiency issues.The study of the efficiency of cultural industries can fully reflect the overall utilization of cultural industries and the use of output efficiency,has a strong guiding significance to ensure the regional cultural industry health,stability,sustainable development.Based on the statistical data of cultural industry in the year of2014,this paper try to eliminate the influence of external environment and random variables on the analysis results,evaluating the efficiency of cultural industry in the western China by using three-stage DEAmodel.This paper comes to conclusion how external factors affect the cultural industry and makes a comparison the difference in efficiency between different provinces.The results demonstrate that:the efficiency of cultural industry in west area are low,the efficiency in each provinces are different and the low pure technical efficiency is the main reason restricts the efficiency of cultural industry in western region;the results before and after remove the environmental factors illustrate that the west area’s cultural industry efficiency are affected by the environmental factors and the random factors remarkably;the inefficiency provinces are all in an increasing condition.Suggestions include strengthening industrial integration,promoting production clusters,raising management levels,focusing on investment in science and technology and so on.
