Our early experience is obtained through the interaction of the body and the environment.The enrichment and deepening of perception and experience contribute to the “cognitive foundation” and “initial meaning” of children's subsequent development.However,nowadays children live in an environment that is hostiles to the senses and ignores the perceptual experience,and lack of perceptual experience leads to the slow development of their physical and mental,even associated with many psychological disorders,that will damage their healthy growth and deeply affect education quality and efficiency.First of all,on the basis of literature review,theories related to sensory development and embodied cognitive theory form the theoretical foundation,this study combs the existing researches about perceptual experience,analyzes the concept of it,and clarifies the significant value for children's development.This paper suggests that children's perception is a psychological process in which children perceive organ-forming sensations and form a comprehensive understanding of things through perception.Children's perceptual experience is physical experience formed through sensory,which is the overall result of children's physical activity,and characterized by initiative,situationality and embodiment.Perceptual experience is the basis of children's development,and it has an irreplaceable role in the formation of children's concepts and language development.Secondly,based on the concept of perceptual experience and previous studies,children's perception experience questionnaire was developed and revised,the final questionnaire included three dimensions,namely perceptual sensitivity,perceptual experience processing and perceptual experientiality,and the questionnaire has good reliability and validity.Through the questionnaire survey of 451 children of the middle and high grades in primary school,the overall level of perceptual experience of them was at a moderate level(M=3.82),specifically perceptual sensitivity(M=3.45)and perceptual experience processing(M=3.71)maintained a moderate level,and perceptual experience experientiality(M=4.22)was at a high level;difference analysis results showed that there were significant differences in the perceptual experiences of children in different gender,grades,birth places and whether they were only-child,while different ages,principal care taker and the number of extracurricular did not affect children's perceptual experiences significantly.Finally,on the basis of empirical investigation and previous research,this study puts forward some relevant strategies to enrich children's perceptual experience.Specifically,there are following points: first,respect the children's cognitive rules,take attention to the accumulation of perceptual experience,mainly from cultivating children's game-power,strengthening perception education and training children's senses in nature;second,educators need to change the concept of knowledge,learning and children,to recreate the integrated dynamic knowledge conception,to reconstruct the autonomous view of children,to restore children's life;third,education should be connected with life,education cannot be separated from children's life,teaching should have a sense of the scene,to lift the body of children in the classroom,and improve the quality of children's perceptual experience.
