Dezhou is located in the northwest of Shandong province,also known as the Northwest plateau.A thousand years of history has created a splendid culture and the Dezhou folk song is a wonderful flower in this garden which keeps pace with the times along with people’s life.It has distinctive characteristics,numerous categories,unique singing,a variety of styles and has a profound impact.It is indispensable in people’s cultural life of Dezhou and is a gem in the treasure house of Dezhou’s culture and art.It is of great value and significance to carry out further research on the survival and development of Dezhou folk song for promoting the national culture of Dezhou and develo ping the local economy.The paper can be divided into exordium and four chapters.In the exordium,the purpose and significance of the topic,the research status of the topic are described;The first chapter is divided into three sections,the geographical overview of Dezhou and the human temperament,the origin and development of Dezhou folk songs,the classification of Dezhou folk songs are described respectively;The second chapter is divided into three sections,the Dezhou folk art forms,artistic features and singing characteris tics are analysed respectively;The third chapter respectively from the three richest representative folk songs – Wucheng folk song " SingtheYangko",Dezhou folk song "Smart women embroidered" and Xiajin folk song "Seasonal flowers" to analyze the singing style of Dezhou folk songs and note that this is the core of this paper;The fourth chapter describes the current situation of Dezhou folk song endangered and how to protect the heritage and there are also the author’s deep feelings in the practice of teaching and thinking at the same time.
